As the frenzied buying of basic household items continues, the Australian prime minister accused those of panic buying and hoarding of being “un-Australian”.
“On bulk purchasing of supplies: Stop hoarding. I can’t be more blunt about it. Stop it,” Mr Morrison said.
“It is not sensible, it is not helpful and it has been one of the most disappointing things I have seen in Australian behaviour in response to this crisis.
“That is not who we are as a people. It is not necessary. It is not something that people should be doing.”
This virus is exposing the cracks in the mulitculti facade. The reason for all the un-Australian behaviour is because Australia is chock full to the brim with un-Australians. Our elected leaders and unelected bureaucrat classes have been importing them en masse for 20 years. So when Morrison declares that this is not who we are as a people, he is absolutely spot on but not in the manner in which he intended.
There have been many first hand accounts of groups of “Chinese-Australians” appearing in country towns and besieging unsuspecting supermarkets. They strip the shelves in front of disbelieving locals and they care not one bit for their behaviour and how it will be perceived. This is their cultural mentality and it is what we have imported in simply massive quantities. Flush with all of their purchases they pile them up in the caged trailers attached to their vehicles and speed off to the next target, finally completely the journey in one of the major cities where the goods are stockpiled for unloading at massively inflated prices.

This is what is known as un-Australian behavior and it is practiced by paper citizens. Our betters let them in and made a point of grandstanding that to make them learn English or to adopt Australian values would be racist. So how are those non-Australian values working out for us now?
Take a trip down to your local country supermarket today and there will be a sign up displaying instructions on basic courtesies, stuff that we used to take for granted until we let in the third world and let them have at it. You import Chinese, eventually you’ll get China; a low trust, miserable shithole which has several millennia of misery behind it almost entirely due to how they view the world and each other. Now they’re attempting to profit from a plague which they themselves introduced. How fitting.
Don’t get me wrong; I’m not under the belief that native Australians are all blameless and pure as the driven snow in this matter. The level of idiocy in the herd mentality and general insistence that the government knows best and will do something about the problem, is somewhat incredible to behold. Summed up it goes something like this:
* I don’t need to prepare for any unusual situation, because looking after me is the job of other people.
* I ignore any suggestion of problems because thinking about such things makes me uncomfortable.
* When something does go wrong, I always look for someone else to blame … regardless of how many opportunities I had earlier to avoid this problem.
* When another person has what I want, I call them “selfish” and demand gimme gimme.
* It’s never my fault!
* Somebody must do something!!
* We are all in this together … so be a “real man” and go fix it for me.
As queues form outside supermarkets it appears that Australians are getting some very limited exposure to the wonders of living in a socialist paradise. But not just a socialist paradise; a socialist multicultural paradise. That one hasn’t been done before in the inglorious history of communism. Perhaps this is the version that will work, but somehow I doubt it. Either way, we’re about to find out the limits of cross-cultural patience and mutual understanding.
Perhaps an update to the old equation is required:
Diversity + proximity (pandemic) = War.
