I actually can’t believe I had to write that headline. If you had asked me in 2017 what I thought I would be writing in 2021, it would have been something along the lines of “Barron Trump Confident Constantinople Can Be Defended Against Turkish Partisans”. How times change.

At least it distracted people from Candy Crush for a few seconds. The footage has already received hundreds of thousands of views across multiple platforms.
Yesterday Victoria Police mobilised hundreds of officers across Melbourne’s inner city to thwart the World Wide Rally For Freedom event. Across the rest of Australia as many as a hundred thousand people marched, chanting quite aptly, “Free Victoria”.

The incident highlights the extremity and the absurdity of the Covid Tyranny in Melbourne. Rally organisers and attendees have been forced to adopt guerrilla warfare tactics. Any attempt to openly mass for protest are swiftly crushed by Victoria’s political police, so it must be done by stealth.
Thus people will go to a park with an alibi. They’ll take a picnic rug and lunch. They will go to a cafe and order a coffee, drink the coffee and then carry it around all afternoon as they do a brisk walk, ie exercise – one one of the few reasons you are allowed out of your house in Melbourne – while they wait for other protestors to turn up.
If they are really sneaky they might just bring their own coffee cup and pretend they bought it from a cafe, but now, as we can see, that risks police checking your coffee cup to make sure it’s genuine.
This is how absurd it has gotten. If you go to a park for a picnic that is okay. The moment you raise your fist in defiance and shout an anti-lockdown slogan, suddenly you are putting the entire community at risk.
It takes thoughtcrime to a whole new level. You can literally be interrogated regarding your motive for sitting quietly against a tree.
The long term effect of this is that people will be made wary of speaking out against Covid Tyranny in any situation. Merely hint to a passerby at the shops that you think things have gotten a little out of hand, and police may be called to check your papers to make sure you are within your permitted radius, and ask you if you really did just mean to pop down to the shops today or if you were surreptitiously trying to redpill the normies.
We have spent our entire lives being educated about how this kind of tyranny was introduced by stealth in other countries in the past, but now it is happening to us we are supposed to just suck it up.
People can maintain the illusion that this will all go back to normal because currently the electricity is still connected, the toilet still flushes and there there is still food in the supermaerket. If global supply chains falter it will go south very quickly.
