Queensland Police FUDGING THE NUMBERS: Mass Losses From Vaccine Mandate

1
Queensland Police Commissioner Katarina Carroll. You know what we’re to say…….yuck.

Victoria is not the only “jurisdiction” struggling to hire enough goons to enforce Covid Tyranny. The Queensland Police Force is reeling from losing potentially huge numbers officers due to the vaccine mandate, with hundreds of exemptions granted in order to hold the force together:

Almost 200 Queensland police officers have been granted exemptions for the COVID-19 vaccine, with more than 130 staff suspended for not complying with the mandate to be vaccinated.

Those are significant numbers. That isn’t just a dozen guys in a shed or a few rabble rousers on the internet. This is hundreds they’re talking about.

All officers and staff were required by Commissioner Katarina Carroll to have their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by October 4, and their second dose by January 24.

According to the most recent figures, 82 police officers and 54 staff members have been suspended.

Several officers have legally challenged the vaccine mandate, with one matter now before the Supreme Court.

“Several”. The XYZ reported in September on a potential class action by up to 50 police officers. Back to the matter at hand:

However on Friday, the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission dismissed two applications that argued Ms Carroll had failed to consult employees before making the direction and that Ms Carroll had no power to make the direction without seeking a variation of the award.

Two police officers, Senior Constable Luis James Larrarte and Sergeant Donna Louise Cole, a senior prosecutor at Beenleigh, filed affidavits saying they were not consulted about the direction…

But it was found the Queensland Police Service had, in addition to direct engagement and consultation with all employees, also consulted all five of the relevant employee unions, and those unions, between them, had total coverage of the 17,000-strong QPS workforce.

The QIRC full bench dismissed the two applications, saying the challenges failed on all three grounds and all the five unions supported the Commissioner’s decision to mandate vaccination.

Unions. They have proven themselves utterly useless in defending the rights of ordinary people against the vaccine mandates around the country. They are simultaneously in lockstep with government and big business, while providing a haven for the most extreme, repugnant band of anti-Australian Marxists in the country.

Back to the unnamed Lying Press outlet’s article, as usual they have buried the pot of gold at the bottom:

On Monday, the QPS said it had granted 197 exemptions on either medical, religious or other grounds.

“The QPS is unable to provide specific numbers for members who have resigned due to the vaccine mandate,” a statement said.

So, almost 200 exemptions and 130 suspensions. Of course they have the numbers of how many have resigned. They just don’t want to tell us.

How interesting.
