“NOT FULLY VACCINATED”: The new way Daniel Andrews LIES about Covid

There is something curious about a new turn of phrase Daniel Andrews has used in recent days to portray Victoria’s hospitals as being overwhelmed by unvaccinated Covid patients.

He proclaimed yesterday that 88% of people hospitalised in Victoria with Covid were “not fully vaccinated” and 96% of those in intensive care were “not fully vaccinated”:

I have seen Andrews use this parameter on two other occasions to convey the impression that we are in a pandemic of the unvaccinated.

It is curious because we have seen footage of at least three occasions where Australian officials provided a breakdown of those in hospital with Covid who were unvaccinated, and those who have had one or two jabs, where the math makes it clear that the majority hospitalised with Covid had had at least one vaccine dose.

In two out of those three occasions, a “clarification” was issued claiming that the official had misspoke, and that the correct figures were a direct inversion of those given in the press conference. This same stunt has also been pulled at least twice in England.

So, we know that officials used to provide a break down of the hospitalisation data regarding those who had two jabs, one jab or no jabs, but now they don’t. This change seems to have occurred after XYZ News pointed out that officials were inverting their own figures.

This makes it look like they have something to hide, especially considering this definition of “fully vaccinated”, courtesy or America’s CDC:

In general, people are considered fully vaccinated: ±

  • 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or
  • 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine

If you don’t meet these requirements, regardless of your age, you are NOT fully vaccinated.

Backing this up is an explanation courtesy of Australia’s health.gov.au in a section titled “Is it true?”:

How long does it take to have immunity after vaccination?

Both the Pfizer (Comirnaty) and the AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria) COVID-19 vaccines require the full 2 dose course for the best immune response. Whilst partial protection against COVID-19 may be as soon as 12 days after the first dose, this protection is likely to be short lived. The second dose encourages the body to create stronger protection (immunity) against the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19.

Individuals may not be fully protected until 7-14 days after their second dose of the Pfizer (Comirnaty) or AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria)) vaccine.

Because of this, you can still become ill prior to this time and infect others around you, so you should continue COVIDSafe practices.

I don’t know about you but breaking down the way governments lie, then lie to disguise their previous lies hurts my brain, so let’s try to dot point this:

  • Officials push the message that the vaccine is the best protection against Covid and the only way out of the pandemic.
  • Officials provide the data regarding those hospitalised or dying with Covid, revealing that most have had at least one vaccine dose.
  • Footage of this goes viral.
  • Governments hastily “fact check” their own announcements by inverting the figures.
  • We provide evidence that too many officials have “misspoken” for this to be an accident.
  • The government comes up with a new term – “not fully vaccinated”.

It is entirely possible that a huge proportion of people “not fully vaccinated” with Covid in Victoria have had one jab. Most worryingly, it is entirely possible that many people who get very sick shortly after getting their second vaccine dose are being listed as “not fully vaccinated”.

It could very well be the case that the vaccine is directly making Covid patients sick, but the government is using its convenient definition of “fully vaccinated” to push the exact opposite narrative.

It goes without saying that the Victorian government needs to clarify its definition of “fully vaccinated”. It must provide accurate percentages of Covid patients with zero doses, one dose or two doses. Failing to do so gives the strong impression that it is not being transparent about the data.

This goes beyond obfuscation to achieve a policy “setting” or to push a pro-vaccine message.

This looks like bloody murder.
