Well, it has happened. A man in Scotland has been arrested for saying the wrong thing about muslim refugees from Syria on Facebook. It is important to distinguish the real world from the the looking glass Wonderland that is the internet, but it is clear that what happens in the virtual world can have real world consequences. If you say the wrong thing about women, even in jest, Twitter will destroy your career. Say the wrong thing about muslims on Facebook, you will be arrested.
Submission truly is Peace.
Remarkably, this Guardian article quotes examples of Islamophobia as being the linking of the Pairs Terror Attacks – which was carried out by muslims, some of whom came to Paris as refugees – with muslim refugees.
One thing is for certain: there is no stopping them; the muslim refugees will soon be here. And I for one welcome our new muslim refugee overlords. I’d like to remind them that as a trusted Internet pundit, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground bomb factories.
