First Minister Mark Drakeford and his comrades have decided that Wales is a “Nation of Sanctuary “. Of course, they didn’t think to ask us, the people, if we wanted this, nor were we offered a chance to vote on the issue because they pretty much know that most of us would say no to it.
We have a massive housing shortage here in Wales and there are around 89,500 people waiting for social housing and 9,000 of them are in temporary accommodation. Despite this, we are told that Swansea is a “City of Sanctuary” and plans to take thousands of migrants regardless of the fact that there are over 5,000 local people trying to obtain housing.
Not to be outdone, Newport’s own elected officials have recently stated that, although the housing waiting list in Newport is now over 9,000, Newport too should be a “City of Sanctuary”!
Not long after this announcement, the newspapers began running stories stating that the Vale of Glamorgan was one of the “Whitest areas of the UK”, this was swiftly followed by the virtue signalling lefties of the Vale of Glamorgan Council announcing their intention to take “hundreds if not thousands of migrants”. The Vale currently has over 5,000 locals on its housing waiting list.
Migrants given priority
In the Welsh capital city, Cardiff, there are thirteen hotels full of mostly male migrants whilst there is a housing waiting list of over 8,000 local people. Over 200 people are visibly sleeping rough on the streets of Cardiff despite the Senedd saying it is only 25. And yet, Cardiff’s Taff Housing Association, has, since 2021, managed to house over 500 Afghans. Given the classification of “vulnerable”, these people have been given homes ahead of local people.
The Senedd tells us that these Afghans are all people who worked as interpreters with the British Army, and therefore, we are informed, we owe them a big debt. Oddly however, their arrival has coincided with adverts calling for interpreters to work with the migrants to help resettle them. Readers can draw your own conclusions from that.
According to Comrade Drakeford (he was indeed once a member of the Young Communists) the reason we have a housing crisis in Wales is entirely down to English people owning second homes. He himself owns a second home but he says it’s not a home it’s a chalet. So that’s OK then. Drakeford’s answer is to impose massive council tax hikes on second homes to try and drive the English away while inviting any and all migrants to come here and be housed at our expense. He has plans to destroy our beautiful land by building thousands of new homes, not for our people but for migrants from thousands of miles away. He and his cronies in the Senedd couldn’t care less about local people. No, all they are interested in is virtue signalling and welcoming in all and sundry. They want to destroy Wales because according to them it is “too White”. They have plans for an “anti-racist Wales” too which is nothing but a plan to promote selected groups and ensure that the indigenous people of Wales who naysay their schemes are denounced as racists made to feel guilty about our history, whilst ripping down our statues and rewriting our country’s past.
These people, from the politburo of the Senedd to the local authority commissars, are not fit to represent our great country. Our people need to wake up from their slumber and start saying no to these people while we still have a country left to save.
