I haven’t read or seen any reviews of The Rise of Skywalker, but I understand that it has been caned. However, in this discussion with Mark Moncrieff of Melbourne Traditionalists and Upon Hope, I make the case that despite obvious plot holes and the usual SJW virtue signalling, The Rise of Skywalker is mostly a half decent romp this time around.
We also revisited The Last Valley after I watched it at Mark’s behest.
