Paris: the New Lebanon

8

Is Paris becoming the new Lebanon?

On top of the terrorists attacks which are becoming a regular occurrence in France and Belgium, riots have gripped the French capital over the last week of so, apparently in protest to government labor reforms.

Riot police have been called in to respond to the violent unrest which has seen police vehicles set on fire by the so called ‘protesters’

The protests have threatened the nation’s petrol and nuclear energy supplies, and are poised to impact further areas of the French economy and society.

Unsurprisingly, French tourism rates are plummeting as riots and terrorist attacks become the ‘ new normal’ in France.

One question that needs to be asked is this: why has the mainstream media given so little attention to the conflict and civil unrest which is now taking hold in Europe?
