Belgium’s ambassador to Australia, Jean-Luc Bodson has hit back at remarks made by Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull in which the PM linked the Brussels bombing with the European migrant crisis.
“It’s dangerous because it’s precisely what ISIS wants — that we would make a confusion between terrorism and migrants and between terrorism and Islam,” Mr Bodson said according to reports from the ABC.
Ambassador, the one who appears to be confused is you. You are like the battered wife who blames herself for being beaten and rationalizes and makes and excuses her husband’s violent behaviour.
The truth is that Belgium is being held hostage, and you ambassador, are identifying with your captor. They have a name for that, and it’s Stockholm Syndrome.
