This week in the Cultural Marxist Casual Sexism department, we ‘Meet the Freemans’ – where dad likes to (think he is) in contol, but we all know mum can literally hit her husband & rip the control out of his hands and nobody batts an eyelid.
This ad has been screening the last few weeks, and it ends with mum knocking her husband’s arm, pulling the television remote out of dad’s hand and saying, “Just pick a channel will you?!” And everybody laughs – well except for dad, but nobody really cares about Dad’s feelings do they?
I invite you to watch the ad below and imagine that mum & dad’s roles are reversed – my hunch is that nobody would be laughing & our cultural overlords would be quickly changing the channel.
