Wednesday’s instalment of Say It With A Picture takes us to the Victorian AIDS Council website, and the images that it chooses for safe sex education.
Apparently, according to the Victorian AIDS Council, a great way to educate young gay men is to mix education and pornography, (the image provided is very tame compared to their sister site down’n’dirty).
The juxtaposition of this image and the topic of loneliness beggars belief.
Most of the content is centred around men who have “anonymous sex.” There’s even a spot where you can anonymously text or send an ’email card’ to tell this person (people?) that they need to get themselves checked.
And finally, it’s bloody hard to look at these sites – by and for same-sex attracted men – and tell us gay people don’t want to change marriage.
