Stephen Wells Prison Letter: It is about not submitting to evil

The XYZ has received a prison letter from Stephen Wells via a family member. He remains imprisoned since his arrest, purportedly for “loitering”, alongside fellow NSN members who held an Australia Day celebration in Adelaide. They marched and sang peacefully, waved Australian flags and wore no masks.

Stephen refused to accept bail conditions which would have suppressed his freedom of speech, association and movement. For this, he has already been punished with over a month in jail, during which he was denied food and toiletries for the first week.

The XYZ has made educated guesses as to Stephen’s reasoning and reported on his court statements, however the following letter provides Stephen’s argument in full and unedited, and by his own hand.

“I am well. I am not accepting any bail conditions that restrict my freedom of movement, freedom of association or freedom of speech. Either the presumption of innocence is backed up by the retention of a man’s liberties until after a trial or it is worthless and means nothing.

“Being jailed for refusing to accept the bail conditions is simply a coercion tactic to try and compel me to legitimise the taking away of my rights. I lose them either way.

“The jail may be worse in terms of suffering, but at least I am not consenting to be punished before trial.

“It is not about winning or losing. It is about not submitting to evil no matter the personal cost.

“When you consent to a lie, you lose part of yourself. You lose a part of your soul. Worse, it doesn’t stop the abuse. The abuse only gets worse.

“First it is a mask. Then it is an injection. I chose to say no at the beginning. I chose to keep my soul intact regardless of the cost to my body or my ability to see my family.

“If you have lost a part of your soul to them in the past by submitting to their coercion, take hope, you will regain all of it back and more if you stand firm next time. But the more times you submit, the harder and harder each next time becomes.

The sooner you stand your ground the easier it will be to hold your ground.”

Stephen Wells, Saturday 14th February 2025.

There is no need to expand on this reasoning other than to say that it is well said, and consistent with Stephen’s opposition to the climate and Covid scams, to the grooming of children, in his promotion of White interests and in his dedication to Christ. He is now backing up his intellectual and moral courage with physical courage.

As reported by The Noticer, he faces another month in prison:

Last week in the Adelaide Magistrates Court Mr Wells was told he would be given bail if he could provide a cash surety and his hearing was adjourned until today.

But despite his wife lodging $1,000 with the court today he was remanded in custody and had his next hearing pushed back from March 13 to April 17 after his bail conditions were not relaxed as expected, and he refused to sign.

Noticer News understands that Mr Wells believes that his bail conditions were made even worse, as they included new bans on leaving his home state and contacting anyone linked to the NSN, even those who are not political activists.

This means he will have spent almost three months in jail on minor charges by the time his case is heard in court.
