This Quote of the Day is in three parts, each with reference to the the Australian Greens’ promotion of their candidate for Northcote in the Victorian parliament, Lidia Thorpe, solely on the grounds that she is an aboriginal woman.
The first is from XYZ reader belt fed 7.62mm, commenting on an excellent video on the subject by MattysModernLife:
“Nothing new. The diversity gimmick has gotten really old. The first female prime minister of Australia gave us a tax on the air we exhale. The first black president of America fuelled ISIS and ensured African Americans remained in poverty. The first Moslem MP in Australia is bathing in $100 notes “donated” by Chinese businessmen. The first openly lesbian is busy telling us we’re all nazis if we don’t vote yes. Lets not forget what is now “part and parcel” in London as a result of yet another diverse first-timer. Oh and since when did the Greens stop wanting to tax small business and use a small business owner as their selling point.”
The second is from Adam Piggott, who points out a deeper hypocrisy of the affair:
“Blacks are privileged over whites in today’s Anglo-Saxon societies but at the same time they and Quisling whites brow-beat and humiliate white people with the false accusations of being discriminatory and advantaged. It’s one thing to discriminate against a different race, but it’s another thing entirely to accuse that race of your own discriminatory actions while you’re engaged in discriminating against them.”
Finally, the definition and purpose of gaslighting:
“Gaslighting is a form of manipulation that seeks to sow seeds of doubt in a targeted individual or in members of a targeted group, hoping to make them question their own memory, perception, and sanity. Using persistent denial, misdirection, contradiction, and lying, it attempts to destabilize the target and delegitimize the target’s belief.”
It’s your XYZ.
