Adam Piggott’s recent piece on the murder of Western cyclists in Tajikistan really got my noggin’ jogging.
These stories of naive Westerners having their “Live, pray, love” attitudes and bodies shredded by the realities of the non-European world seem to be coming thick and fast nowadays.
One particuarly shocking example was Pippa Bacca:
“Pippa Bacca, was an Italian feminist artist who, together with a fellow artist, was hitchhiking internationally to promote world peace under the motto, “marriage between different peoples and nations”,[1] symbolically wearing a wedding dress during her trek.[2] On 31 March, 2008, she disappeared in Gebze in Turkey. Her raped body was discovered in the same city on 11 April 2008. The police arrested a man who later led them to her body.”
The reason these tales of suicidal naivety are reaching all time highs, is because the elite have for the first time an entire three generations (or a full electoral generational spectrum) of Leftists who have swallowed wholly the Altruism and Universalism narratives.
This is why ALP, Greens & Democrat voters and their equivalents throughout the world will line up and vote for an overt mass immigration platform, despite the fact it will destroy their living standards if they’re lucky, and if they are unlucky their societies and people. (At least the LNP and other fake right or corporate right parties go through the motions of deception on this subject….)
Their naivety has disabled their sense of self-preservation. Unfortunately though, because of universal suffrage, we all get to enjoy the consequences of this via democracy.
Democratically coerced mass immigration ensures that rather than the occasional case of some poor naive Western soul being murdered in some backwater, we will all get to experience that in the (dis)comfort of our own nation on an industrial scale. The reality is that mass immigration into first world countries simply turns first world countries into third world countries.
Born too late to explore the world.
Born too early to explore the universe.
Born just in time to watch the collapse of the West.
This is why acid attacks in London, child rape in Rotherham, crime in the USA and machete attacks in Melbourne are on the up.
As Trump said “Somebody’s doing the raping”.
Sadly, as the First World transitions to Third world. A lot of innocents and altruistic universalists (mutually exclusive categories in my opinion) who wouldn’t normally be subjected to the horrors of third world brutality and lawlessness will be subjected to it. Two particuarly egregious recent examples are Kathryn Steinle and Mollie Tibbetts:
“On July 1, 2015, 32-year-old Kathryn Steinle, while walking with her father and a friend along Pier 14 in the Embarcadero district of San Francisco, was shot by Jose Inez Garcia Zarate, who claimed a gun had fired accidentally while he was picking it up; he claimed he had found the gun moments before, wrapped in cloth beneath the bench on which he was sitting. The shot ricocheted off the concrete deck of the pier striking the victim in the back. Steinle died two hours later in hospital as a result of her injuries. On November 30, 2017, after five days of deliberations, a jury acquitted Zarate of all murder and manslaughter charges, but convicted him of being a felon in possession of a firearm.[1]
The shooting elicited controversy and political debate over San Francisco’s status as a sanctuary city, as Zarate is a Mexican national unlawfully residing in the United States”
“Police confirmed Tuesday they found the 20-year-old University of Iowa student’s body after a five-week search. Tibbetts went missing on July 18 after going for a jog near Brooklyn, Iowa.
Cristhian Rivera, age 24, has been charged with first degree murder in the case. Police confirmed during a press conference Tuesday that he is an immigrant who is in the country illegally.
“We have confirmed with Homeland Security Investigations that he is and illegal alien and has been in this area for 4 to 7 years,” Rick Rahn, special agent with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, said at the press conference. “We first approached Mr. Rivera yesterday… There was no fight or struggle of any kind.”
According to a charging documents, Rivera told investigators that he ran next to Tibbetts until she threatened to call the police and tried to run away. Rivera said he chased her and blacked out. He said he came to, realized that he had killed her and put her body in the trunk of his car, according to the documents.”
This civilisational suicide pact has come about because so many people are so disconnected from reality now that they don’t understand that their high trust, peaceful and prosperous societies are a function of peaceful, trustworthy and industrious people. We can’t have one without the other. In fact for three generations now, the Left has advocated for the dismantlement of the pillars of Western society that gave rise to peaceful, trustworthy and industrious people. The patriarchy, Christianity, and European identity and ideas have all been cast on the cultural rubbish heap. The Left’s Culture War victories have resulted in a critical mass of voters who are either propagandised into these beliefs or bribed via welfare into voting for a trajectory that will lead us to a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
