From news.com, September 10, 2017:

“IF you thought winter was over, you might want to think again because spring isn’t quite ready to officially take over just yet.

“Temperatures across NSW plummeted yesterday with residents in the inland town of Goulburn shivering through the coldest September night in 45 years, with a chilly -5C recorded.”

From the Age, September 14, 2017:

“Are you feeling the chill more than usual this spring? That might be because Melbourne is shivering through the coldest start to spring in more than a decade.

“Bureau of Meteorology records reveal the average maximum temperature for the first 13 days of spring in the city this year is a scant 16.1 degrees.”

From the Age, today, September 15, 2017:

“Melburnians were stopped in their tracks just after 3pm on Friday as a torrential downpour pounded the city and saw the temperature plummet five degrees.

“A ferocious thunderstorm dumped eight millimetres of rain in the CBD in the space of 30 minutes.”

But, you know, it will never rain again.
