It has been a victorious fortnight for the ever-growing movement opposed to the authoritarian policies of the regressive left, with victories big and small being achieved.
Number one, without question, is the election of Donald Trump as President of the United States of America. His election will see the erasure of the Obama legacy, will avert the almost certain disaster of a Clinton Presidency, and will allow Americans to maintain and reassert their own national identity. If the sole future achievement of Donald Trump is to secure America’s borders, he will, like Tony Abbott in Australia, have achieved much more than any of his near predecessors.
Trump’s win is also indicative of a broad pushback against the forces of political correctness and speech suppression in the Western world. In Australia, we have witnessed two such victories in quick succession, with the dismissal of 18C charges against the QUT Three, and the news that the despicable head of the so-called “Human Rights Council” will not be having her contract renewed.
We here at The XYZ might suggest that Gillian Triggs join Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, and cry into their big pile of money.
It’s your XYZ.
