Why is an international forum at which world leaders can meet necessary?
Is not the primary function of the UN to avoid war? How is that going for it?
Don’t we have enough multilateral forums as it is? Perhaps it is time to focus more on these, or on Bilateral arrangements between like-minded states, and get away from the cronyism, corruption, and outright anti-semitism of the tyrant ruled UN and its plethora of committees.
Plus, it does seem more and more apparent, even to the non-paranoid, that a groupthink which sees borders as an unnecessary nuisance to be done away with, rather than the foundation on which international order stands, appears to be infecting the UN.
