This sounds illegal to me and a clear breach of international law. Perhaps one of those human rights lawyer types can take this pro bono to some important sounding committee or court. Surely in Australia Mr Wilkie could loudly denounce this in the nation’s parliament and be interviewed by the ABC on the matter? I’m sure ISIS do not have a United Nations mandate for this, but given the make up of UN committees these days, I would not be categorical about that.
