Why is it culturally insensitive/racist/religiously offensive for Senator Hanson to wear a burka to question time, when a slutty nun outfit is not?
Why are the jokes regarding what nuns wear under the habits deemed acceptable, when the merest suggestion of humour or public safety concerns to a garment that literally removes the humanity of the female, seen as inflammatory?
If you wear one it is not welcome here in Western society. If you push against the ban of it you’re not welcome here either, and can go live with the filthy sand people in all your idealistic glory, burka and all.
