Covid: Conspiracy or Stupidity?

There is no doubt that the 2020-22 period in our lives is unlikely to be erased quickly from our memories, though the way people remember it may vary. For those on our side of the internet the continuous lies, censorship and resultant economic consequences are something we can never forgive. Yet the general population still inhabit a middle ground. On the one hand, they remain convinced to some degree that lockdowns and vaccines were necessary. However there is also a general feeling of regret as the inflation caused by stimulus payments, coupled with the side effects from mRNA vaccines, are now coming to light.

Of course to even mention side effects is still a taboo subject, although the media is beginning to accept that something is going on. I think it’s fair to say that many people now know someone who’s had a side effect from this experimental treatment. I have one anecdote I can disclose: an older lady down the road was temporarily paralysed in her left leg after having her booster. I can imagine readers also have their own experiences, made all the more tragic if someone young and healthy had their life robbed from them.

Multiple falsehoods

As the calls for investigations continues to grow and those in denial seek to censor and intimidate, it is worth remembering this isn’t the only scandal relating to Covid. Indeed, there are so many falsehoods it is hard to know where to begin. The fact that the PCR tests used to detect Covid were found to be unreliable means that the true number of cases is actually impossible to know. These test kits – I kid you not – produced both false positives and false negatives. And then on top of that deaths from flu, pneumonia and other related illnesses in hospitals were sometimes counted as Covid when they shouldn’t have been. And that doesn’t even include the flawed data collection used in the first place.

Yet the most baffling part of the whole saga was that as early as summer 2020 it was known that the majority of people dying were elderly with underlying health conditions. Even the media begrudgingly reported on this a few months later, yet it would take another two lockdowns and 18 months for all measures to be fully lifted. The truth was out there but nobody wanted to hear it. Recalling all this above, the whole thing reminds me of some dark slapstick comedy sketch.

People have alleged that this was all a conspiracy, that globalists knew what they were doing on the outset and put a plan into action. My take is more nuanced, in that I think it was conspiratorial to some degree.

The most obvious allegation, that Big pharma colluded with governments to make bumper profits from its vaccines is almost certainly true. After all in order to cover your legal tracks, you have to ensure you avoid the repercussions if something goes wrong. It’s also true that politicians, the media and celebrities fell in line with the narrative, either willingly or because they were deceived through coercion. Those that didn’t saw their careers hit the wall. Then of course there was the Chinese laboratory in Wuhan which was probably the source of the virus, where scientists funded by the American establishment were researching coronaviruses. All of this is provable, yet unfortunately the full picture may never be known.

Yet other allegations have fallen flat, and in many ways lend credence to the idea that much of it was human stupidity. The idea that China created the virus to bring down its competitors doesn’t make sense, because it was the last country to lift lockdowns (in 2023!) and has suffered some of the worst economic problems. Then there was the theory that globalists had commandeered the whole crisis from the start, and that the vaccines were a plan to reduce the global population. Yet if that’s true, then why is Israel the most vaccinated country suffering from the most side effects? Something tells me globalists wouldn’t make that country their primary target.

Globalists benefited

However, the introduction of the Covid app and its corresponding social credit system in China all seemed a bit too convenient for the powers-that-be. On top of that, the ban on global travel coinciding with the ‘climate emergency’ narrative was again an act of spectacular timing. And then finally a sharp rise in miscarriages as a side effect of the vaccine, just at the time when millennials were hitting their prime child bearing years. Correlation doesn’t always equal causation, yet it’s no exaggeration to say that Covid benefited the globalist agenda. Post-pandemic, many motorists in Britain are now faced with ‘zoning’ and hefty bills for simply driving through their local area. If anything, lockdowns changed people’s psychology just enough to make them accept a new era of totalitarian control. 2014 wasn’t just 9 years ago, it was in a totally different world. Donald Trump starting his Presidential campaign in June 2015 may have accelerated the left, but Covid helped consolidate their new agenda.

The standout element of this whole topic though has to be the World Economic Forum. Most people pre-2020 had either never heard of it, or like me just thought it was an annual economic summit in Davos. I think it’s fair to say this development caught us off guard, and has made us realise that the rabbit hole is slightly deeper than we thought. Some (very mistaken) people on social media have criticised and mocked those questioning Covid, the vaccines and the World Economic Forum. They see science as the intelligent position, and therefore opposing vaccination to them is essentially a low status belief. They also see the idea of some WEF-led agenda as impossible, even though for decades Mr Schwab and his associates have openly admitted what they’re doing. Hard truths are difficult to accept, especially if you’ve spent your whole life believing that your country is only controlled by a government you elect, rather than other people as well.

The reality is that all previous WEF ideas – net zero, reducing meat consumption, digital currency, city zoning and social credit systems – are all now domestic policy in developed countries. These policies were laughed at by conservatives when they were first proposed at Davos in the early 2010s – but conservatives aren’t laughing now. If you’re going to help save your nation then you must recognise the many layers of elite structures that exist, whether they be religious, ethnic, cultural or technocratic.

The title of this piece is of course rhetorical, as both conspiracy and stupidity played their part in the Covid saga. In many ways, although it has objectively made our world a darker place, it has also shone a light on the global situation going forward. The gradual encroachment of the State into every aspect of our lives has intensified, with technology being the primary method of carrying this out. The reality is that without smart phones, video calls, social media, 24hr news and disposable testing kits the public hysteria, lockdowns, and tracking could never have been maintained. The narrative of Covid was not one of plague and devastation, but rather one of human flaws and self interested global players. A dangerous combination throughout history, it is now fuelled by technocrats and advanced technology.
