Men, protect your women

In my post this week discussing the fact that women are not warriors, I neglected to discuss a salient point. Women not only are not warriors, they are largely incapable of any form of self defense. This is nicely illustrated in the case of the Italian olympic female boxer. This woman dedicated her life to the pugilist arts, but when she came up against an opponent that is suspected of possessing a sliver of male DNA, her performance was ended after barely half a minute.

Women today are told that they are the equal of men. To this end, they are encouraged to take self defense classes, which I imagine now must be some sort of industry onto itself. When new industries grow large enough and profitable enough then the lie upon which they were established must be continued at all costs. But women in hand to hand combat with a man will be overpowered in the blink of an eye, no matter how many self defense courses they might have taken, nor belts of many different hues which they may proudly display upon their shapely waists.

The female boxer is a good example of this. Infantry combat is another thing altogether. The vast majority of people who have not served in the military in a combat role have no idea just how brutal and personal infantry combat is in real life. The movies mostly show men being picked off at a nice distance. Rarely is it shown when a soldier needs to defend himself from an enemy intent on his immediate death with whatever is at hand; a knife, a shovel, a steel helmet.

What chance women in this encounter? None whatsoever, but please, send us your daughters.

Women lack situational awareness as men lack a mothering instinct for their children. We are wired differently for different things. A woman’s self defense course is worse than useless; it gives her an overinflated sense of security due to her own assumed abilities. This coupled with no situational awareness leaves her vulnerable to predatory men.

Men used to protect their women, be they their wives or daughters or sisters. The first part of protecting women is helping them to understand their inherent vulnerabilities. Most men balk at this initial step as they dread the implied push back or perhaps the false accusation that they are some sort of deranged misogynist. So instead they tote around photos of their daughters looking all rough and ready on the firing range with some oversized rifle.

A woman can carry as many handguns in her handbag as space will allow, but without the situational awareness to know when she needs to pull one out she will always be at a disadvantage to a man in the same situation.

Contrary to modern propaganda, women do need men. Men must educate their wives and daughters to the realities of a violent and dangerous world. Women and girls must listen to their husbands and fathers and trust in them that they have their best interests at heart. That Italian female boxer is an example of an abdication of masculine duty on the part of her father and husband, if she has one. Lucky for her that she received her wake up call in the boxing ring and not in a dark grove of trees in a supposedly safe neighbourhood.

Adam Piggott writes about all things red pill and nationalist right. He examines what it means to be a man in the modern world and gives men advice beyond the typical 'how to pull chicks', (although he does that too.) He plays the guitar, smokes cigars, drinks wine and rum, rides motorbikes, is bad at cricket, and distrusts any man who has no redeeming petty vices. He does his best to be a reality check to any Millennials or progressives so unfortunate as to cross his path.
