This has no doubt come as a sudden and alarming surprise to the powers that be at their ABC, but it appears that even ABC devotees are beginning to stand up to speech suppression.
Following remarks made by Sonia Kruger, yesterday, where she expressed concerns over Islamic immigration to Australia, ABC’s News Radio opened a poll, asking their listeners:
“Should the Federal Government denounce controversial commentary calling for an end to Muslim immigration?”
While the ABC pollsters no doubt thought they had this Dorothy Dixer in the can, the response has been quite to the contrary. So far there has been resounding “no” to the question, with 85 percent responding in the negative.
