Greens Senator Lee Rhiannon has called for an urgent reform of political donation laws to ensure that the Greens continued to hold the record for the largest single political donation ever made in Australia.
Comrade Rhiannon, speaking on ABC State Radio, reiterated the similar statements of Greens dear leader Comrade Di Natale earlier today. Â Meanwhile, Labor Party leader Bill Shorten faced questions about the use of funds provided to his former Union that were allegedly used in support of his own campaign for political office.
The Greens, who hold their party room meetings in absolute secrecy, have previously called for greater transparency in the political process. Speaking on ABC State Radio, Comrade Rhiannon was not asked whether her own party’s policy would apply to her own party.
