Food for thought – Crusade to make the world great again

When Donald Trump announced last year that he was “officially running for President of the United States, and we will make our country great again,” I became a rapid covert to his campaign.

By the time Pope Francis came out swinging at the Republican front-runner back in February, I had become a supporter of the notion to appoint Trump as Pontiff (which naturally requires a little suspension of disbelief).

When I read a Vatican/CNN poll had indicated 95% of respondents supported another crusade to place Israel, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon under the banner of the Holy See, the prospect of a Templar Trump came to mind.

As David Hiscox has highlighted previously, it is the crusader mindset that enabled Europe to survive the Islamic onslaught in the past (and which is beginning to be revitalised again).

With parts of America, such as Dearborn, Michigan, becoming informal Islamic colonies, it is time America (and dare I say Australia and the rest of the world) channel the Templar Trump crusader mindset before it is too late.
