Food for thought – #Truckpocalypse

After the terrorist attacks at the New York trade centre buildings on September 11, 2001 many emotions flared up throughout America; anxiety, fear, anger and for some humour.

I can remember one of the earliest memes that circulated after those attacks was of a guy flying into a building on a hand-glider with the caption “Irish terrorist”, and a photo below of him falling with the caption “there was 1 casualty”. Some might say it’s insensitive, I say it was bloody hilarious!

As we’ve seen today France has had another round of terrorist attacks occur (making this the 15th attack since March 2012). While I personally get angered every time I hear of another attack in France (or anywhere for that matter), ranting to everyone around me that Marine Le Pen’s National Front needs to be running the government, other folk like to offer up a laugh as a means to deflate the anxiety.

In walks the most fabulous super villain on the internet, Milo Yiannopoulos.

While I’m sure the perpetually offended victimhood industry of the regressive Left will be jumping down Milo’s throat over this, I’d like to say a big thank-you to Milo for these delightful posts.

When vile throw-backs from the 6th century go out of their way to murder innocent civilians (and in today’s case many of which were children) nobody provides a proverbial bitch-slap better than our “dangerous faggot” Milo.

Let’s face it; if the Left were trying to get a hashtag trending during this horrific attack, they’d likely be regurgitating their nauseating fallacious #illridewithyou hashtag.

Food for thought.
