Well it’s the start to 2016 and while Aussies await the campaigning for the Australian Federal election (which is to be held on or before 14 January 2017), the US campaigners have been thoroughly at it for months.
While Hillary had launched her first paid television campaign ads about 8 months ago, Donald Trump has held off on launching his self-funding blitz against his opponent.
In the last 48 hours Mr Trump has unleashed his first paid advertisement to the airwaves, and darn this ad makes me wish I were an American citizen (just so I could have the opportunity to vote for this bloody legend).
Here’s the summary of what the advertisement communicates:
1. Trump doesn’t mollycoddle politically correct pollies who can’t handle the truth. Trump calls it for what it is “Radical Islamic Terrorism” (You don’t like it? Take a hike!)
2. How does Trump address radical Islamic terrorism? Temporary ban on Muslims entering the United States.
3. Trump will efficiently and effectively “Cut the head off ISIS” and take their oil.
4. Trump will stop illegal immigration by building a wall between Mexico and America, and make Mexico pay for it.
If Americans can keep Donald J. Trump’s first television advertisement in their minds right up till election day (November 8, 2016) then you will truly be driven to #MakeAmericaGreatAgain
